Dear ones,
I woke up this morning to God speaking about battle positions. There are four basic battle positions for the army of God. They are unarmed on offense, unarmed on defense, armed on offense, and armed on defense.
Unarmed on offense can get you killed on the battlefield as can unarmed on defense. Too many Christian men and women live in these two positions. They find themselves battered by spiritual forces they either don't understand or are afraid of, taking the arrows of life on unprotected or rushing into the fray with no armor or weapons.
The next two basic positions are more appropriate for the effective spiritual warrior and we find ourselves in these two positions often. Armed and on defense, dug in and firing back. However, the effective warrior is more often armed and taking the fight to the enemy of men's souls.
"All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Matthew 28:19
"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Matthew 28:18-20
This is an offensive position and should be the norm for our daily life, not the exception. We should go through our days with rescue on our minds, listening to Heaven and taking action on earth.
Love,
Tim
